I’ve written before about the highly inappropriate content of books being marketed to young children these days. Read more here. That was concerning the books in the public library. Recently, I made a statement in a social media group that these are also in our local public schools and was asked for proof. I only searched two high schools in my area and found the following books. This is by no means an exhaustive list. And I would hazard a guess that you will find many of the same books in any high school and public library’s Young Adult section (aimed at ages 12-18), possibly even in many middle schools.
